Welcome to Hilarystone.com
PLEASE NOTE:
I am away from 8th to 19th May – I will attempt to answer emails during this time but please do not phone me… Obviously I will not be shipping during this period. Last shipping will go out on Tues 8th May. Fra,mes and wheels will be packed on Monday 7th…
Hilarystone.com is devoted to older race, road, track and touring bikes, frames and parts to fit. There will be some retro MTB parts, frames and even the occasional bike too…
I also aim to keep in stock some basic parts for fixed gear and track riding – chainsets with bottom brackets to match, suitable pedals, bars etc
My main stock will be lugged or fillet brazed steel frames; tig-welded ones and even aluminium and carbon-fibre frames too if I think they are interesting. And from most periods – as far back as the early 20th century though most of what I sell will be from the 1950s through to the 1980s.
Apart from the stock a whole section of this site will be devoted to good quality scans of period catalogues, parts lists and instruction sheets which can be downloaded in PDF format. I will aim to provide material in this section which is not available elsewhere on the web or in print. And like the stock it will reflect my wide ranging interests in older lightweight bikes.
I am in the process of moving partly to Wales and all the small item stock is now in Wales and mostly sorted and racked – this means that I can check far easier for items not listed on the site – and I am over in Wales four days most weeks… There will be lots of updates to the small parts over the next month or two.
If you're looking for something specific don't forget the search button at the top left hand of every page…
